Montréal, Quebec

May 29/30, 1999. Heiko, a school buddy from Germany had invited me to see the city, he was in love with (and will always be). It turned out to be a great and sunny weekend. And as Heiko had told me in e-mails, it really is a city with a very french-european, stylish and cozy flair, with thousands of cafes, and women, who know how to dress. After having lived in the States for several months, it was a bit like going to Europe.

This is inside the famous sphere-shaped american pavilion in the world expo area. In the background you see downtown Montréal.

This is Heiko with the pavilion in his back.

This is Oratoire St. Joseph on top of Mont-Royal.
