The UCONN campus - first days
| Eva, me and Husky 'Jonathan', the UCONN mascot. |
| The football field and Gampel Pavilion. |
| It was very obvious we were in New England. |
| This is a beautiful new englandish church on campus. |
| This is the newly renovated "Homer Babbidge" library, with excellent service
and opening hours compared to german university libraries. |
| The Wilbur Cross Building, the UCONN landmark. |
| This shows Silke, me and Bettina after our first shopping spree for food and basic
room needs. The car behind us is our Mazda 323, that we were to have difficulties very
soon. |
| This dude (a.k.a. parking enforcement officer) was a constant
threat to every car owner. No discussion necessary! In fact, he
ticketed me a couple of times. Here you see him ticketing a guy
right infront of my dorm window. |
| Construction and reconstruction was taking place when we arrived. It was
quite a mess at times. |
