Flight to Seattle - Visit Grandparents

After lots of good-byes and packing suitcases we flew to Seattle to visit my grandparents.

We got a cheap flight from JFK via priceline.com.

So the plan was to take a picture of Manhatten at sunset right after take-off. Well, ... viola, this is Big Apple! ... somewhere...

This is (left to right), Grandma, Grandpa, me and Aunt Johanna in their garden. I am very proud they are my grandparents and look up to them.

Although being in their age is anything but easy, they manage to take care of each other, keep their garden running and keep their humor and faith. I admire you!

Mt. Rainier, part of the Cascade Mountain Range. It's simply called "The Mountain" in that area, because it is so prominent. In fact, it's on the licence plates of Washington State.
