Grand Canyon, Arizona

The Grand Canyon was to be our last National Park of the trip. After having been spoiled by all the other natural wonders of the west, the Grand Canyon had lost some of its magic for us. But standing at the rim and trying to grasp the size of this majestic canyon was a mind-boggling experience.

At the motel. A friend of ours had given us army food packs along the way. They contained a complete meal, a heater!, desert, an instant drink, tobasco sauce, salt'n'pepper, crackers and ;) ... toilet paper. It was high-tech food and really different to prepare. And some of the stuff even tasted like food. ;)))

This concludes the album. It has been a great and unforgettable vacation!
I hope it inspired you for your travel plans.
